continuation of editing

After I logged and captured the footage of the POV shot we placed it in and it made much more sense looking from an audience's prospective. We then had to perfectly match the fridge shot to the rest of the film as we it had to look fluent which was a bit tricky, but we got it in the end.

Now the main problem we had was when Kameir turns around and drops the glass. Originally we only dropped a cup but it our new filming we used a glass which we didn't drop. But when we went to cut the new film to match the film it didn't really work to well at all. So instead we used the new footage with the glass as she walks to the sink, but then cut to the old footage when she drops the cup and covered the noise with a glass smashing sound effect.

Also we had a problem with what she was actually scared of in the kitchen scene, as the door handle was not that scary, so what we did was in final cut pro we went to modify and selected speed and increased the speed. to give it that extra effect. Then we used the sound aspect from that and repeated it as she is walking away from the door to still show what she was running away from.

Finally the last difficult part was when we filmed the shadow part of the film, the wall it should have been recorded on in my house was too small. But as my kitchen has the small colour walls we recorded in another part. But later after watching it again, it had part of another door in my kitchen that we could not get out of the frame and also a painting from another wall. But because we had done some filming of the shadows in another room in the college earlier on with a red filter light to connote danger, we thought we might use that one instead. However, after looking at both we knew the one recorded in my kitchen was alot better. So one of the technicians helped us by just cropping the shot but not too much otherwise it would have been very pixelated

So we were finally done all that was left to do was the sound and opening credits.
