Red Shadow scene..

Our thriller was set in the night time which meant that we had to take cameras out for overnight filming. However because of the schedule of our media lessons we discovered that it would be slightly difficult to film when we had the lessons as they were all earlier in the day.

After the pitching ,our next lesson was a 3 hours long one but we couldnt film as the house we intended to film in was in use . We did not want to waste time so we decided to film the last part of the storyboard which was the shadow scene. We found a blank wall in the college premises and started to film our idea. The equiptment we used was a ligting kit and a red pallet over the lighting . The red colour pallet was not our intention at first however when we thought about the meaning of our thriller it had relevance as it represented and signified blood and death and we thought it could add effect by building suspense in the audience.

In the end after we had shot the scene a few times we watched it back and thought it was very effective an was hoping that it would fit into the rest of the filming that we are hoping to carry out at the other location. Were were very happy with today as we hadnt wasted valuable time which was very important for us not to do.
