continuing editing.

The P.O.V shot that Alethea filmed was very useful. After we loggeed and caprured it we started editing our clips again. We embedded the clip into the time line where neccessariy which made the clip as a whole make more sense.

Me and Alethea were sitting on one apple mac computure doing the editing whilst Ashton was on another trying to find sound effects that we were going to use. We were going through the editing quickly and the more we progressed the more promise our film opening showed. However the time became an issue againg and we were very worried. We addressed Mary with the issue and she basically said that we should do all of the editing them she would watch it back and tell us the unneccessarity parts that we could edit.

Whilst editing we came across a few problems. Some of the clips were not able to be used because of the story we were trying to tell therefore we had to use some of the old film shots we had.We used the old clip where i was walking towards the kitchen sink and the new clip wher i was drinking from the glass. We thought it would be a problem because we could hear when the cup falls but Mickey said that with editing we could cover it up later.

We were speaking to a student who previously attended the sixth form college and he was telling us that we should put our all into our work and not mess about as we would only be disappointed with ourselves. He helped us with some of the editing for example the door handle shaking was lot long enough so he increased the speed by selecting modify then speed , this also added a very eerie sound effect and we were very pleased with it.

He also gave us his input on what he thought about the editing we done so far and he was very impressed which boosted my confidence level. A little while after he noticed that we wer struggling putting the show scene in the time line. Because the space we used to film the shot was too cramped , ashtons body was shown. We didnt want this and as a group couldnt figure out a way to correct it. he suggested that we cropped the shot to take out the body which work very well.

By the end of the lesson we had very little to do and we were almost certain that we could finish off by adding sound effects and titles in the next lesson.
