Pitching ...........

Pitching our thriller idea to the teacher was a little bit pressurising. I personally felt that we had to prove ourselves considering the fact that we only had 3 people in the group including myself ;compared to the other groups with 4 to 5 people. This didnt discourage us in anyway if anything it made us more determined.

We were in given a fair amount of time in which we had to plan a detailed plot for our final thriller. Between the group we had a lot of very useful ideas. We finally came up with the idea of having a young woman in a empty house who thinks someone else is in the house. At first it sounded very basic but we were hoping that when we edited our filming and used our knowledge from soundtracks use and effects our thriller would have a better appeal to the audience.

After pitching our idea to the media teachers we began our storyboarding amongst our groups. We spent a lot of time deciding on various shots we could use in the thriller and for on shot we even had two ideas on how we could film it based on the bed we used. We wanted to use an ariel shot for the queen sized bed or the Mid shot for the bunkbed.

The storyboarding gave us a further idea of how we could embedd our match cuts when editing. By the end of our lesson we had a completed storyboard that the group was more that happy with.

We had the responsibility of deciding on a reasonable time that would suit us all to start our filming considering the deadline for the completed thriller opening. This was a little complicated as we were using Alethea's house and we also had to work around her family's lifestyle and be considerate.
