Sound editing

After finishing the film we moved onto our sound editing, which we found a bit difficult as we had trouble getting the hang of the Sound Cut Pro. But it was alot quicker as we had some sound effects already done that Ashton had created during the making of the film.

Later on we needed to concentrate at the times music was needed to create suspense. So at the times when dialogue was used the music would stop then when the dialogue had finished the music came back on which had a very good effect.

The biggest problem we had was trying to not use the same music as everyone else which became very common, but we got around it through the help of mickey which was great. We used sound effects such as rain, thunder, wind and a glass smashing the rest of the sound were diagetic. for example the door slamming and the creaks on the stairs.
